The Refuge was started informally at the end of December 2017 in my basement when I took in a surrender case of 5 domestic rabbits.

Our Mission

To provide refuge to companion animals that have been abandoned, surrendered, neglected, or otherwise let down by humans. We strive to focus our efforts locally in the Delco are but have taken in animals from as far as California. In addition to providing sanctuary for companion animals in need, we also strive to provide assistance to those in need and provide them with an option to keep their pets in times of hardship. We also offer education on proper pet care, common pet diseases, behavior information, and much more, to help our community provide the best environment and home for their pets.

You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.
